Q: Do I need to have a lawn for the stork sign installation?
A: To ensure the proper and safe installation of our signs, we do require a conventional residential lawn. This means you should have an open area with unobstructed soil covered with grass. Unfortunately, we cannot install signs in areas with rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, or dense landscaping. Additionally, signs cannot be placed where public utility boxes, water mains, or other city, county, or state-owned structures are present, as this might hinder access or risk potential fines or damage to the sign. Our team will securely place the sign by driving a stake 10 inches into the ground. If you have any queries about installation or location requirements, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
Q: When should I reserve a stork?
A: Congratulations on your upcoming birth announcement! Just give us a call as soon as the baby is born, and we’ll do our best to have the stork sign up before the new family comes home from the hospital. Typically, under normal circumstances, we aim to deliver within 24-48 hours. If you’ve already submitted our form, we’ll reach out to confirm your order and process payment over the phone or email. If you haven’t heard from us, please feel free to get in touch at 407-454-3737. We’re thrilled to help you celebrate your new bundle of joy! We do take reservations for Baby Showers and Sip & Sees.
Q: Where will you install the newborn announcement sign in the yard?
A: We want to ensure that your stork sign is placed in the perfect spot for capturing those special moments and photo opportunities! By default, we position the sign in the front yard where it’s easily visible from the road. However, if you have a specific location in mind, just let us know before our arrival, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Note: The yard sign will be placed 10 inches into the ground. We will use our best judgement to place the sign in a location that will not damage anything unseen or hidden. If any damage is incurred to cables, sprinkler systems, or any hidden or buried objects, it is your responsibility. Winter Park Storks and More will not be held liable for any damage resulting from the sign placement.
Q: How will you accept payment?
A: We accept payment via Venmo or credit card. All payment transactions must be made over the phone or email. All orders must be paid in full prior to delivery.
Q: What Signs do you offer for proud grandparents?
A: Congratulations on becoming a grandparent! We know it’s a special moment, and we want to help you announce it to the world. You can choose from our generic bundles starting at $100 or opt for personalized bundles at $120. The storks can be rented for 7 days and will be installed in your yard, sharing the exciting news with your community. The personalized bundles contain the baby’s details and are left behind as keepsakes when we pick up the storks.

Q: Under what circumstances do you cancel an order?
A: You will receive a full refund if any of the following apply:
- You cancel your stork at least 72 hours in advance
- Extreme weather conditions prevent us from setting up your sign
You will not receive a refund if any of the following apply:
- We are unable to get into a gated community because we were not given a gate code or it doesn’t work
- The security guard at a gated community refuses to allow us entry
- Animals will not allow us to set up the sign
- The homeowner or recipient does not allow us to set up the sign or calls us to request that we pick up the sign prior to the end of the rental period
Q: What happens if the yard sign gets damaged?
A: In the event you spot any damage on the sign, kindly inform Winter Park Storks & More without delay. Our signs are constructed to be sturdy and weather-resistant, ensuring long-lasting quality. Nevertheless, please refrain from attempting to climb on the signs, as we cannot assume responsibility or liability for any injuries that may occur on the renter’s property. The homeowner, in whose property the rental sign is displayed, will be held accountable for any costs associated with damage to the sign during its stay on their property. When placing an order for a sign, the homeowner acknowledges and accepts the responsibility for the sign while it is located on their property.
